Congratulations on your forthcoming celebration and welcome to my website.  I am an authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant who believes that ceremonies give our lives their true meaning. My vision for Licensed to Wed is that you will enjoy and remember your special ceremony always, whether it be small or large, formal, informal, traditional, contemporary or thematic.

Since my own marriage some 24 years ago, I have increasingly recognised the value of significant commitments, ceremonies and milestone celebrations in the lives of my own family, friends and others. Having worked as a registered nurse, community mediator, government administrator and trainer and presenter, I am adept at listening to and caring for individual's needs and tastes.  I aim to truly listen to you as my client/s and ensure that my service meets your needs. 

At Licensed to Wed, you may like to choose from my range of ceremony options and selected readings, poetry and symbolic rituals. Alternatively, I can assist you to tailor your own memorable ceremony and celebration that meets your particular hopes, dreams and preferences as well as all relevant legal requirements.  I often write unique ceremonies that include a couple's personal story and acknowledge those family and friends who are or have been so important in their lives.

I provide clients with wonderful resources to assist the planning of their celebration and a commemorative copy of your ceremony as a keepsake. You may also like to choose one of my beautiful tablecloths and pens for use on a signing table at your ceremony.  In addition to commemorative marriage certificates, a range of other special certificates are available to recognise your commitment, renewal of vows or naming of a baby or child, to show appreciation for the efforts of those in your bridal party or special friends and family, or as a keepsake for god parents and grandparents.

I provide a high quality portable PA system with built-in CD player and IPOD adapter, as needed.  Should you require other equipment, such as a table and chairs for an outdoor ceremony location, I can also assist, so feel free to outline your needs when we meet.  My quoted prices are all-inclusive and there are no hidden extras, as detailed in the comprehensive booking agreement we negotiate together.

Licensed to Wed serves all parts of the ACT and nearby NSW, including (but not limited to) Queanbeyan, Yass, Cooma & Goulburn. I will also travel to other metropolitan, rural and coastal locations across Australia as negotiated.
